  Megaureter and cystic kidney dyspla...
#1

Infant with suspected acute abdomen was aimed to ultrasound.

Previously operated on right megaureter, the left kidney for a long time could not be found, visualized only blind-ended ureter - suggested hypoplasia of the left kidney.

At ultrasound in the left iliac region visualized cyst about 2 cm below the cyst is the solid component and a tubular structure extending from it to the bladder - presumably cystic dysplasia of the iliac dystopic hypoplastic left kidney and left megaurether.
