  Troubleshooting ultrasound scanners
#1

From time when Philips has presented the innovative technology - SonoCT - flattening the image, many years have passed. Now majority of modern ultrasound scanners are equipped with similar technologies.

In this connection the new questions have appeared, in particular, how to verify various masses, if many of criteria of ultrasound diagnostics of these masses were based on arising during the scanning an image artefacts(for example - acoustic shadow), which so kindly now are eliminated by innovative technology options.

In Mindray the such option is named as IClear, in Esaote - XView.

Also I've found that in Mindray this option is included by default for all presets, including an echocardiography. And it becomes a problem because at high heart beat an active image frame rate don't overtake and picture becomes blur.

Another question about cases data export.

It seems that everything is clear about this question - movie as AVI, image as BMP or JPG and of course DICOM if somebody need it.

But I've found that my Windows Explorer sometimes is going down (with all system of course) when trying to read some exported data from new GE Logiq P6 (similar problems I had with some AVI files from GE Logiqbook XP). And I don't know really why.

At one AVI file Explorer found frame rate of 1000 frames per second which in VirtualDub (free video editor) was only 15 frames per second! Until I've deleted this files(previously convert them of course) I can't work with my computer - What's in these GE AVI that driving mad my computer?

It's like in Kung Fu Panda movie:

Master Shifu - You are free to eat!

    Panda - Am I?

    Master Shifu - Are you?
