#1

A 6-year-old child was sent for an ultrasound of the scrotum with the clinic suspision of hydrocele, without complaints of pain at the time of the ultrasound.

On top of the testicle with suspected hydrocele on ultrasound, a lesion type of a complex cyst is visualized size of about 34 x 12 mm with septums (dif.diagnosis: strangulated inguinal hernia with necrosis / hematoma, etc.).

An emergency consultation with a surgeon in the emergency department of the hospital was recommended.
