  Where are the buttons, dude?

On the US market has a new player - CARESTREAM (Canada), introduced a family of ultrasound scanners - Touch Prime.

Already from the name (Touch) you can guess what will be discussed, a stationary ultrasound unit instead of the standard operator console with buttons has a huge touchscreen (ie. Touch screen with operator panel emulation)!

Generally touchscreen is not a something new in the US, even 15 years ago I saw them on the ultrasound scanners, but replacing the entire panel with a touchscreen - it's interesting.

And one more device, now from GE, like an All-in-one PC with touch-screen.

Available in two versions Venue (stationary) and Venue GO (portable)
