  Subtotal encephalomalacia
#1

Newborn, syndromic, previously had brain CT where diagnosed PVL (periventricular leukomalacia).

Visually predominance of facial part of the skull vs the brain part, head shape looks as " pear" .

On ultrasound most of the cerebral hemispheres represented as anechoic cavities with some partitions (encephalomalacia), also present a moderate expansion of the lateral ventricles.
