Child 4 years-old with the mass of the infraorbital region aimed at US after consulting of surgeon.

By the words of the accompanying earlier had wounded by a wooden stick in the cheek area on the same side, after the surgical wound cleansing it remained some pieces of wood, which then went out with pus.

Currently in the angle of the mandible there is a scar up to 5 mm, in the infraorbital region on the same side there is a dense formation about of 1 cm.

At US in the area of the scar visualized hypoechoic fistula up to 3 mm in diameter and 1.5 cm in length, without increasing blood flow at CFM.

The infraorbital region mass is predominantly hypoechoic irregular shape and border, coming from the bone, on the CFM / DPD with markedly increased blood flow, also at the site of this mass there is a visible defect in the bone, which is consist of hypoechoic tissue turning into the mass and also with a markedly increased blood flow at CFM (abscess? inflammation of the periosteum?).
