  Paraproctitis
#1

The child with pain and purulent discharge in the perineum was taken to the Children's City Clinical Hospital and with suspicion of paraproctitis sent for an ultrasound scan. On ultrasound through the transperineal access in the pararectal region there is a lesion of a complex structure with an increase of blood flow at CFM, presumably an abscess.
