A 15-year-old child was referred for an ultrasound of the scrotum by a surgeon with complaints of enlargement and discomfort in the projection of the right hemiscrotum, condition after surgery on the scrotum hydrocele on the right for 1.5 months back.

On ultrasound, there is a thickening of the spermatic cord on the right (diff. diagnosis: deferentitis / funiculitis, etc.), an increase in the size of the epididymis of the right testicle (diff. diagnosis: epididymitis, etc.)
