A 13-year-old teenager with complaints of pain in the left side of body and a history of urolithiasis came to the ED of the Children's City Clinical Hospital, an urgent ultrasound of the kidneys was prescribed. At ultrasound in the kidney on the side of complaints renal pelvis upto 8 mm, calyces upto 10 mm, multiple (4 clearly) small stones / microliths, 5-7 mm in diameter, are visualized. Stone about 7 mm are visualized with an acoustic shadow, up to 5 mm - without. The proximal third of the left ureter is up to 7 mm. The bladder is almost empty. external link |
