Infant with a transverse red scar(fresh?) on the front surface of the proximal third of the femur some cm in length(?), according to the surgeon words allegedly postinjection genesis (but scar too long for just injection).
Aimed to ultrasound just in case, because surgeon at palpation didn't found the mass under the scar.
At ultrasound in the region of interest there is an inhomogeneous lesion of increased echogenicity (presumably abscess) with oval shape and fistula reaching the surface of the skin (the projection center of the scar) from the upper pole of the mass, blood flow was impossible to estimate because of infant constant moving.
