  Free fluid and meniscuses
#1

The teenager came to the surgeon with complaints of pain in the knee after physical exercise and with the diagnosis of popliteal fossa hygroma was addressed to ultrasound. Denies trauma.

On US there is a free fluid in the medial and lateral meniscus, more in the medial, lateral meniscus has echogenic strands in the fluid (knee joint inflammation?), popliteal fossa without features.
