  Subconvexital fluid
#1

Baby 4 months old sent from other clinic by the words of mother observed with excess fluid in the head.

On US in the standard access via the sector probe in the subconvexital area there is up to 12 mm of fluid. Using a high-frequency linear probe (12-13 MHz), the fluid is echo-positive with linear hyperechoic lesions, which at CFM is partially colorized (subarachnoid hemorrhage / hematoma?)

The child immediately sent to a neurosurgeon.
