Child 5 years-old with a bruise on the left flank of the lower chest, by her words fell on the fence (?), were in the emergency block, on x-ray revealed nothing, aimed at ultrasound with a preliminary diagnosis of soft tissue contusion.

At ultrasound the spleen and left kidney was normal. In the projection of the spleen and lower left ribs visualized hyperechoic area of subcutaneous fat with unclear contour (contusion? hematoma?).
