  Thickening of the scrotum wall
#1

The patient 20 years old, invalid, with a severe history, including single kidney.

Came including on the scrotum ultrasound because it was recently became inflamed, and according to his words, to him was performed a cystostomy after which scrotum became better. I didn' t understand any of this, as a connection between a performing of a cystostomy and improvement of patient' s wellness at inflammation of the scrotum, but ...

On ultrasound the testes are unremarkable and the scrotum wall is really thickened, in some places up to 1.5 cm, layered (edema / lymphostasis / other).
