    The teenager came to the abdomen ultrasound due to a long subfebrile condition, he had previously been diagnosed with Epstein-Barr virus and on ultrasound in the one of the Moscow hospitals there is also a “polyadenopathy” of the abdomen (enlarged lymph nodes). Especially asked to see the size of the spleen.

    At ultrasonography the abdominal organs are unremarkable, however, there is a mesadenitis and in the right iliac region an expanded segment of the intestine with a linear tubular structure is visualized(roundworm - ascaride?)
