  Stump appendicitis
#1

A 9-year-old child was admitted to the emergency department of the children city hospital with complaints of abdominal pain. According to the parents, appendicitis was previously removed by surgery. So the surgeon in ED suggested not to look for an appendix, but to focus on ultrasound of the kidneys.

Nevertheless, at ultrasound - appendicitis. Intraoperative - appendicitis. In the documents later provided does indicate that the child had previously undergone appendectomy at another hospital.
