  Strangulated inguinal hernia with n...
#1

An infant was admitted to the neonatal pathology department of the Children's Clinical Hospital with a suspicion of either an inguinal hernia or hydrocele, and an emergency ultrasound was prescribed in the department.

Ultrasound together with the surgeon: in one of the inguinal canals/half of the scrotum, a strangulated loop of the intestine is visualized, at CFM the strangulated part of the intestine with blood flow. The area of the strangulated part of the intestine passes into a heterogeneous lesion, presumably intestinal necrosis, and a cyst with predominantly horizontal septa distally, presumably hemorrhagic contents.
