    A 3-year-old child in a public clinic with complaints of recurrent pain in the knees was sent for an ultrasound of the knee joints with a diagnosis of arthritis.

    On ultrasound, in the projection of the lateral menisci, linear hypoechoic symmetrical structures are visualized on both sides (differential diagnosis: cruciate ligament, ligamentitis, meniscus rupture, etc.)
