A 2-year-old child in the public clinic, condition after surgery for cryptorchidism (orchidopexy), was sent for a follow-up ultrasound of the scrotum.

At ultrasound in the left hemiscrotum visualizes heterogeneous contents (diff. diagnosis: omentum, funiculitis / deferentitis, etc.) continuing into the inguinal canal, the entry of the contents of the abdominal cavity into the left inguinal canal is also noted (diff. diagnosis: inguinal / inguinal-scrotal hernia on the left and /or funiculitis/deferentitis, etc.).
