Cyst-like lesion in the back of the...
#1

Parents of an infant went to the clinic with complaints of a thick fold along the back of the neck. After consulting a surgeon, they were sent for an ultrasound scan.

On ultrasound along the back of the neck, an anechoic cyst-like lesion is visualized, without blood flow at CFM, with a narrow isthmus adjacent to the occipital bone of the skull.

    Differential diagnosis: cystic hygroma, etc.
