| 2 years old child with complaints to appeared two days ago bulging in the left inguinal area, after surgeon' s examination urgently hospitalized and sent to the ultrasound. According to parents the child has cremasteric reflex(retractile testis, false cryptorchism). At ultrasound the scrotum is empty, the right testicle in the inguinal area, proximal to the testis in the inguinal canal there is a heterogeneous movable content, the internal inguinal ring is open, up to 7 mm in diameter - presumably cryptorchidism, inguinal hernia; in the left groin visualized heterogeneous mass, partially with solid structure, at CFM with some blood flow by the contour of the mass - presumably cryptorchidism, torsion of the left testicle in the inguinal canal, fragmentation of the left testicle (necrosis). external link | |
