Ectopic thymus

    Teenage girl after endocrinologist consultation with clinical diagnosis underweight aimed at thyroid ultrasound.

    At US posterior to the right lobe of the thyroid gland is visualized a layer of tissue resembling the echo structure of thymus, at least in the left side of chest there is tissue layer with the same echo structure. Presumably ectopic thymus, recommended CT / MRI of the neck.
