  Laparoscopic appendectomy, postoper...
#1

A teenager came to the emergency department of the Children's City Clinical Hospital two weeks after laparoscopic appendectomy with complaints of discharge from one of suture, and was referred for ultrasound of the area of postoperative sutures.

At ultrasound in the area of interest in the projection of the medial edge of the left rectus abdominis muscle visualizes a heterogeneous lesion with a fuzzy uneven contour and hyperechoic dot inclusions in the center (differential diagnosis: ligature fistula, etc.).
