  diffuse changes of the thyroid
#1

A 62-year-old female patient came to the control ultrasound of the thyroid gland, previously described diffuse changes by the type of thyroiditis.

On ultrasound, the right lobe of the diffusely-heterogeneous structure (thyroiditis?) and even a few lobular, the left lobe is visually of two pieces (congenital anomaly?).

Also such form of the gland can be caused by atrophy as a result of chronic thyroiditis.
