  Thyroiditis 2
#1

A 16-year-old girl, of normal build, without complaints, thyroid ultrasound has not been previously performed, was referred for thyroid ultrasound after examination by an endocrinologist under the medical examination program at school.

On ultrasound, the thyroid gland is not enlarged in size, diffusely heterogeneous structure, mainly in the left lobe, with the formation of a hypoechoic pseudonode in the posterior-lower part of the left lobe (differential diagnosis: thyroiditis / Hashimoto's thyroiditis or etc., etc.).

Below the thyroid gland on both sides, single hypoechoic lesion up to 7-8 mm are visualized (differential diagnosis: parathyroid glands, lymph nodes, etc.)
