  Neck lesion
#1

The teenager was admitted to the ED of the Children's City Clinical Hospital, with complaints of a supra-sternal mass, discovered a couple of days ago, painful when pressed.

On ultrasound from the upper edge of the sternum, just a little short of the thyroid gland, behind and along the sternocleidomastoid muscle medially and in front of the brachiocephalic vessels - the lesion of a complex echostructure, like "honeycomb", with blood flow to the CFM.

Dif. diagnosis: infiltrate / phlegmon / lymphadenitis, lymphangioma, etc.
