  Lymphadenopathy of the cervical lym...
#1

A 4-year-old child was sent to the public clinic for ultrasound of the lymph nodes of the neck.

On ultrasound in the lateral part of the neck, 5-7 enlarged lymph nodes up to a maximum of 2 cm are visualized, on the CFM, the blood flow in the projection of the gate. Several of these lymph nodes have an echogenic zone along the anterior surface, an asymmetrically located core (lymphadenopathy, differential diagnosis: abscess formation, etc.).

A similar echogenic "cap" on the lymph node can be seen in another case from my practice -
