  Hypertrophic pyloric stenosis
#1

Infant with vomiting addressed to ultrasound. Pyloric part of stomach is closed, walls are thick, greater then 5 mm, and pylorus length more 20 mm. Which is a sign of hypertrophic pyloric stenosis - intestinal obstruction.

During the discussion on the other forum was raised a question, whether the pyloric thickness changes after surgery (pyloromyotomy).

In my experience, it was not.

Also It turns out that foreign colleagues came to the same conclusion:

Postoperative ultrasonography changes of the pylorus in infants with hypertrophic pyloric stenosis
