A 62-year-old patient came to the control of ultrasound examination of the abdomen for gallstones. She was previously recommended to remove the gallbladder and finally she was going to do it.
On ultrasound in the gallbladder the level of stones with an acoustic shadow is visualized throughout the entire length of the gallbladder (cholelithiasis - gallstones). Below the gallbladder, 2 rounded lesions are visualized in the projection of the choledochus: anechoic type of cyst upto 2,5cm(choledochal cyst? Etc?), an / hypoechoic with echogenic inclusion upto 1cm(LN? cyst? Etc?).
The consultation of the surgeon, abdomen CT is recommended.
There are some doubts that these " cysts" can be the neck of the gallbladder, but if it is then it is not clear why they have a shape of cysts and why they do not have stones inside.
