Few weeks after appendectomy

    Child of school age came to the children hospital with complains of pain in the right iliac region, condition after laparoscopic appendectomy a few weeks ago, directed to the US.

    On ultrasound in the indicated area there is lesion of a triangular shape with hyperechoic edging, (omentum) and an- / hypoechoic inhomogeneous central content of the type of " honeycombs" (encapsulated fluid colletion - hematoma? abscess?).
