  Clinic is always right
#1

A child of 7 years old with suspected appendicitis is directed to an ultrasound.

At ultrasound a typical appendicitis but after hospitalisation the surgeon made diagnosis - "diagnosis is unclear" and recommended control abdominal ultrasound with filled bladder - apparently the clinic was unclear.

On the second ultrasound during the day appendicitis clearly visible even thru the filled bladder, which was briefly appended to the previous ultrasound paper (and sonologist said in mind bad words).

As it turned out later, the patient same day was taken to the appendectomy after the second ultrasound, intraoperatively phlegmonous appendicitis about 14 cm in length.
