    An infant in the ICU of the Children's City Clinical Hospital after an surgery on a diaphragmatic hernia, an ultrasound scan was prescribed for fluid in the pleural space.

    On ultrasound in the pleural space, a large amount of free fluid with sludge (differential diagnosis: hydrothorax, chylothorax, hemothorax, pyothorax, etc) is visualized.
