  Mirror artifact vs collapsed lung
#1

An infant in the ICU of the Children's City Clinical Hospital, an ultrasound of the pleural spaces and lungs (chest) was prescribed with suspected hypoventilation.

At Ultrasound in the lower parts of the right half of the chest from the subcostal and lateral intercostal views above the diaphragm visualizes the contents of the solid type with blood flow at CFM (mirror artifact vs collapsed lung/consolidation).

On chest x-ray everything is normal.
